My dear friends in Christ:

Central to the work of the New Evangelization is the need for each of us to deepen our spiritual relationship with the Lord Jesus. We must make time each day to pray in the quiet of our hearts and to reflect upon the great mystery of our faith as revealed in the life, death and resurrection of the Lord. Those who are able to spend time before the Eucharist in adoration and prayer are especially blessed.

One of the most powerful forms of prayer that is part of our Catholic heritage is the Rosary. By meditating upon the mysteries of the Rosary and asking for Our Lady's intercession, each of us can grow in knowledge, love and faith of our generous and loving God.

Since its inception in 1992, Rosary For Life has asked its members to pray the Rosary on a regular basis for the preservation, protection and defense of all human life, especially the unborn life of children. I commend your spiritual efforts in this regard and ask that the Lord will continue to give you the strength and courage to persevere until the day when all human life is once again protected and respected in our country.

May Mary, the Virgin Mother of God, under the title of Our Lady of Guadalupe, watch over you each day with her maternal care and love.

Sincerely in Christ,

+ Nicholas DiMarzio, Ph.D., D.D.
Bishop of Brooklyn

My Dear Brothers and Sisters in the Lord,

The power of one Hail Mary can change the world. In all of our efforts and endeavors, we can never underestimate the power of prayer and must always rely upon the help of God. In a special way we commend our efforts to the Mother of God and our own Blessed Mother.

The Rosary, especially prayed in the presence of the Blessed Sacrament, is a powerful means of spiritual grace. In all of our efforts to promote the sanctity of human life, prayer is our first and strongest resource. May we rely upon the power of our Lord's presence in the Blessed Sacrament and the intercession of His Blessed Mother to guide and help us in fostering a greater respect for human life and an end to abortion in our society.

May God bless all of you and may Mary watch over each and every one of you. May the gift of life always be seen as a treasure which God alone gives and guides. With the assurance of my prayers, I am,

Sincerely yours in Christ,

My dear friends in the Lord,

It is my contention that this great nation of ours will once again come to follow God's Will for life through prayer, work and sacrifice.

Rosary For Life, founded in 1992, is certainly one step in achieving our goal of preserving, protecting and defending the most innocent and vulnerable among us - the unborn.

For centuries, the rosary has shown itself to be a beautiful and powerful prayer of the Church. Through the intercession of Mary, Mother of our Divine Lord, may Rosary For Life continue its valuable mission, the restoration of the sanctity of human life.

Very truly yours in Christ,

+ Edward Cardinal Egan,
Archbishop of New York

Dear Friends of the Unborn,

All of our efforts to restore the sanctity of human life must stem from our willingness to pray and sacrifice for the unborn.

The Rosary provides us with the ideal way to reconsecrate our efforts, to direct our work, to focus our hearts on the love which Jesus Christ has for the most innocent and vulnerable of His brothers and sisters.

The Rosary binds us together as one in a chain of prayerful love and work and it binds us to the Son of God through his Mother Mary. With such a mighty bond between heaven and earth we cannot fail, and we will not fail.

Our Lady of Guadalupe, Pray for America, Pray for the Unborn.

Faithfully in Christ,

Archbishop of New York [now deceased]

My dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ,

Busy apostles and evangelists recognize the necessity of praying always without becoming weary (Luke 18:1; 1 Thess. 5:17). It is the secret of their perseverance and success in their work of evangelization.

A modern lay-apostle, Mrs. Winifred G. Powers founded in 1992 Rosary For Life, a devotion that invokes the intercession of our Blessed Mother through the Holy Rosary specifically to save and defend the innocent unborn children.

God is honored whenever we respect and promote the human right of the unborn, a gift flowing from the Sacred Heart of love. The Rosary For Life is our contribution to the culture of life and peace.

Fraternally in the Lord, Our Life and Truth,

+ Paciano B. Aniceto, D.D.
Archbishop of San Fernando
Chairman, Episcopal Commission on Family and Life of the Catholic Bishops Conference of the Philippines

Dear Wyn,

I'm very happy to give a strong endorsement to Rosary For Life. My only regret is that I can't be more involved. I hope that many people interested in pro-life and have devotion to the Blessed Mother will join the Rosary For Life and read Fiat.

Congratulations on how this little seed has developed so beautifully.

Sincerely in Christ,

Fr. Benedict J. Groeschel, CFR
